THE HEARTS ON FIRE DIFFERENCE
- What are the differences between Hearts On Fire diamonds and others?
When you purchase a Hearts On Fire diamond, you are buying The Most Perfectly Cut Diamond In The World®. A diamond of extraordinary beauty and brilliance, and a diamond that is recognized around the globe for its exclusive cut. There is so much to know about Hearts On Fire diamonds and why they are so beautiful and different – but these four reasons tell you quickly:
Rare and Unique Quality of Diamonds - At Hearts On Fire, we start with the very best diamonds – before they are even touched by a cutter or technology. By selecting only high quality, transparent, and knot free crystals, we can ensure that the maximum amount of light captured, scintillated, and reflected is always at its most brilliant. Simply put, when you start with the best … you end with the best.
The Highest Manufacturing Standards - A diamond begins as a rare miracle of nature, and an object that needs to be handled with the utmost dedication and skill. Only Hearts On Fire expertly crafts this raw material into the world’s most beautiful and valuable diamond. With a precise selection of the rarest diamond crystals, our master craftsmen then cut and polish at 100x magnification, while the rest of the industry only operates at 10x magnification. To achieve this elite polish and finish, only the world's best diamond cutters are actually qualified to cut and craft a Hearts On Fire diamond.
State-of-the-art Technology - With the skills of our master craftsmen, and the raw beauty of our diamonds, we are able to achieve maximum results in our perfect cut every single time. The technology used in HOF cutting facilities around the world is the highest level of quality, resulting in perfect symmetry, perfect proportions, perfect polish, and perfect alignment every single time. This perfection creates incomparable sparkle and brilliance that you can truly see.
A Sparkle Like No Other - While all other diamonds in the world display partial, imperfect, or sometimes even no patterns of light, Hearts On Fire captures light in such a perfect way that it reveals eight perfectly symmetrical hearts and Fireburst® patterns every single time, hence our unique Company name. Simply put, a Hearts On Fire diamond sparkles more.
- What is the difference between a HOF Round and Dream diamond?
A Hearts On Fire round diamond has 58 facets while the patented Dream cut has 70 facets. As a result, the HOF round cut diamond returns approximately 98% of light while the Dream returns approximately 93% of light, which is one of the highest light returns for any fancy shaped diamond. More information on Hearts On Fire Diamonds and the HOF difference.
- What does The World's Most Perfectly Cut Diamond® mean?
When you purchase a Hearts On Fire diamond, you are buying The Most Perfectly Cut Diamond In The World®. A diamond of extraordinary beauty and brilliance, and a diamond that is recognized around the globe for its exclusive cut. A brand that is for and about women … and is here to celebrate life’s most precious moments with you.
No matter what, everyone wants their diamond to truly sparkle. To light up a room and catch attention from everyone around you. And a Hearts On Fire will do that more so than any other diamond in the world.
Why? Surprising to most people, a diamond’s cut is actually the most important factor of the 4 C’s, as this is what most affects the beauty and brilliance (what you see) of the diamond. Shockingly, if two diamonds have the same color, clarity, and carat weight, the cut will still affect its beauty and value by 50% or more.
All Hearts On Fire diamonds are hand-cut to perfection by master craftsmen using state-of-the-art technology - with each facet polished and analyzed under 100x magnification - 10x traditional standards. The result? A Hearts On Fire diamond simply sparkles more.
- I have found cheaper diamond jewelry. Why?
There are many diamond brands and generic diamonds that are offered at various price points. Therefore, it is even more important that you understand the true quality and value of your diamond and how that affects the price.
Ethical guidelines of evaluation require that each individual diamond be graded the same way all over the world when it comes to color, clarity and carat weight. These are all rarity factors that affect the price of any diamond; however, the last piece of the puzzle, cut, affects the final value by as much as 50%.
Many diamonds are cut poorly to save on production costs or time – resulting in diamonds that can look smaller than they actually are and sparkle less. At Hearts On Fire, we ensure that EVERY diamond is perfectly cut...resulting in a difference you can truly see.
At Hearts On Fire, we not only start with the best diamonds in the world, but we cut and polish at 100x magnification, 10x the industry standard. Our facilities all have master craftsmen and state-of-the-art technology, ensuring perfect symmetry, perfect proportions, perfect polish, and perfect alignment that displays incomparable sparkle and brilliance in every single diamond.
Hearts On Fire is known as The World’s Most Perfectly Cut Diamond, and is the only brand that can make this exclusive statement of perfection. Simply put, a Hearts On Fire diamond is more valuable than any other diamond. A Hearts On Fire diamond sparkles more than any other diamond.
- Are all HOF diamonds triple zero’s?
Yes, all Hearts On Fire diamonds are triple zero’s; however, not all triple zero’s are good enough to be HOF. Every triple zero will have the pattern of hearts and arrows, but a Hearts On Fire diamond will not only be cut perfectly, but have perfect polish, perfect symmetry and perfect proportions. When cutting our diamonds, we look at additional dimensions such as size, depth percentage, and table for each diamond in order to differentiate our diamonds from generics.
CHOOSING YOUR DIAMOND
- How big of a diamond can I get in my Hearts On Fire engagement ring?
All Hearts On Fire® engagement rings are available in a wide variety of diamond sizes, many starting at .30 ctw, and ranging as high as 3.00 ctw and up. If you are interested in a larger size center diamond, you may contact us using the following method:
1. Contact our Hotline at +60 19 222 2916.
2. Send us an email to customerservice@habibjewels.com
3. Drop us a message in our customer service page.
4. Visit other available HABIB showrooms. Please click here for the list of available showrooms. - Can you explain the 4 C's of diamonds?
When choosing a diamond, there are four "C's" to consider: color, clarity, cut and carat weight. Clarity, color, and carat weight are all determined by nature and contribute to the rarity and value of a diamond, but the CUT of a diamond is by far the most important of the 4 Cs as it is the only "C" that man controls, and ultimately, the only "C" that determines the overall beauty and value of a diamond.
- What is the Hearts On Fire diamond clarity?
When it comes to clarity, all Hearts On Fire® serialized diamonds are strictly limited to the IF (Internally Flawless) to the SI2 (slight inclusion) range - the most valuable and rare diamond range. As for Hearts On Fire® diamond jewelry, our designs generally offer diamond clarity that falls in the VS1-SI2 range.
- What is the quality (color/clarity) of the diamonds in jewelry designs that are not rings (pendants/necklaces/earrings/bracelets)?
When it comes to color, Hearts On Fire® diamonds set in our Hearts On Fire® jewelry are generally Colorless (D, E, F) and Near Colorless (G, H, I, J). Additionally, we offer a limited quantity, in very limited designs, of Hearts On Fire® jewelry set with Faint (K) color Hearts On Fire® diamonds.
The clarity of Hearts On Fire® diamonds set in our jewelry generally falls into the VS-SI clarity range (at a minimum).
No matter what the color and clarity, all Hearts On Fire® and Dream® diamonds are crafted in our state-of-the-art facilities by the world’s most talented Master Diamond Cutters. Therefore, each and every Hearts On Fire® diamond meets the same exclusive criteria and superlative specifications for cut...resulting in the perfect Hearts On Fire® cut, with the same brilliant sparkle, every single time.
- What is the Hearts On Fire diamond color?
When it comes to color, Hearts On Fire® diamonds are in the Colorless (D, E, F) and Near Colorless (G, H, I, J) range. Additionally, Hearts On Fire® offers a limited quantity, in very limited designs, of Hearts On Fire® jewelry set with Faint (K) color Hearts On Fire® diamonds.
- What is a Sensational diamond?
Hearts On Fire®’s high-quality cut makes color and clarity less of a determining factor and has led Hearts On Fire® to simplify the buying process by grouping the serialized diamonds in diamond engagement rings as two, high-quality diamond categories: Sensational and Signature. A “sensational” serialized diamond, means your diamond is in the G, H color range and a “signature” serialized diamond is in the I, J color range. Both have VS1 to SI1 clarity
These distinctions demonstrate you are buying the best in diamond quality and beauty. Hearts On Fire® will provide a Diamond Identity Document to accompany each complete diamond engagement ring. The unique Hearts On Fire® serial number, Hearts On Fire® Cut quality, the Quality Category ranges (Sensational and Signature) and the specific carat weight will be documented on the Diamond Identity Document.
- How do I choose a carat weight?
As for carat weight, Hearts On Fire® diamonds are cut for beauty, not for size. That's why a smaller carat weight Hearts On Fire® diamond may actually be more beautiful than a larger generic diamond due to its superior cut and polish.
- What is the difference between 18K Gold and Platinum?
Platinum is a rarer and stronger precious metal that generally does not wear as much as gold over time. Both gold and platinum will require occasional polishing to retain their dazzle, but white gold will require the Rhodium finish to be re-done over time.
In addition, our 18K white gold is allergy-free because we use a combination of palladium and gold.
- What are tips for choosing the best diamond?
The key to buying diamonds is to buy what you like the best. The best condition for viewing diamonds is face up and with varying amounts of light. More light will give you more sparkle, but low indirect light will show you how well the diamond transforms even the tiniest amount of light. Cup a diamond, either loose or mounted, in your hands. You'll be amazed.
In addition, color, clarity, cut and carat weight are rarity factors that affect diamond value. White is more rare than tinted, clean is more rare than included, and big is more rare than small. Consider your budget when selecting gems with more rare grades. In the end, choose the diamond that pleases you the most.
- What diamond shapes do you offer?
Due to our high-quality, exclusive cut, Hearts On Fire® diamond-cutting experts specialize in only two exceptional diamond cuts -the Round and Dream® (square). In a traditional round brilliant cut (with 58 facets), the Hearts On Fire® diamond is a brilliantly performing, ideal-cut diamond, that makes a timeless and elegant statement no matter how its worn.
Similar in brilliance and intensity, the Dream® diamond (with 70 facets) is the only fancy-shaped diamond that can meet the high-quality standards set by Heart On Fire® - in a modern and elegant square frame. Due to its unique design, only a few dozen master diamond cutters in the entire world have the skills necessary to cut a Dream® diamond. In fact, its unique design (boasting one of the highest light returns of all fancy shaped diamonds) is so exceptional that the Dream® diamond was granted a U.S. Design Patent. As radiant as it is unique, this diamond truly is a Dream®.
- How does a Dream® diamond compare to a radiant, princess or emerald cut diamond cuts?
The emerald cut diamond has been around since antiquity. Traditionally, emerald cuts are rectangular in shape and feature a classic "step cut" faceting. In 1945, Asscher Company modified the emerald cut into a square shape. While emerald cuts are noted for being colorful, they lack the full sparkle of a round diamond. In 1970, Basil Watermeyer created the Barion Cut to bring the classic brilliance associated with the round to the step cut. His innovation was to modify the pavilion (bottom) of the emerald cut to mimic that of the round brilliant. He published his designs, yet did not patent them. In 1977, Henry Grossbard patented a similar style in New York and called it the Radiant. The princess cut diamond is a generic cut developed in the early 1980's as the rectangle or square that would retain the most possible weight from a standard piece of rough diamond. It has a "chevron-style" pavilion. Princess cut diamonds tend to be less bright and colorful than emerald and radiant cuts. The Dream® diamond by Hearts On Fire® is the latest achievement in the evolution of the perfect square cut. Dream® is perfectly proportioned and precisely cut for maximum beauty, brightness, fire and sparkle. Dream was awarded a U.S. Design Patent for its unique design in November 2002.
- What are the quality of the accent diamonds in Hearts On Fire engagement rings?
All of the accent diamonds in our engagement rings are handpicked to match each other. More specifically, all of these accent diamonds are G-H in color and VS-SI in clarity.
CARING FOR YOUR DIAMOND
- Why can't my ring be sized?
When a ring is made with accent diamonds (diamonds down the sides of the band), gallery work or an intricate design, it is not safe to size it more than a 1/2 size (up or down) for fear of compromising the integrity of the ring. This is because when you size a ring up or down you have to open the band and that can make the diamonds fall out, become loose or even break. Therefore, it is much safer for the diamonds and any gallery work that they not be moved too much. That is why rings with these designs are limited to be sized only 1/2 size up or down – and if any more sizing than that is required we recommend ordering the ring in the correct size instead.
- What's the best way to clean my Hearts On Fire® diamond jewelry?
Keeping your diamond clean is easy. Here's what we suggest: Mix equal parts of a light detergent and water. Dip your Hearts On Fire® jewelry in the solution and brush gently with a clean, soft toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly with cool, clean water. Ta-da. Every now and then, we suggest you have your jewelry professionally cleaned at our showrooms. While you're there, be sure to have the setting checked for any loose diamonds or other wear-and-tear.
